Mr. Losoya has over 17 years of experience as an HVAC Designer, 27 years as a Plumbing Designer and over 32 years of experience as a CADD technician. His HVAC design experience includes various systems including hydronic systems, steam systems, VAV systems, split DX systems, VRF systems and packaged DX systems. In addition to designing sanitary sewer and domestic water systems, he has designed medical gas systems and deionized water systems for laboratories, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. He has designed HVAC and plumbing systems for research facilities, veterinary clinics, laboratories, restaurants, schools, universities, industrial, churches, and various governmental facilities. He utilizes Elite’s CHVAC software to develop his HVAC designs inclusive of ductwork layouts, equipment selections and exhaust system designs. He currently uses either AutoCAD MEP, or Revit MEP to model his 3D designs. This helps to coordinate changes to the structual or architectural elements as required to eliminate conflicts in the field. His work experience also includes producing specifications, cost estimates, submittal reviews, and performing site observations and reports. He is also a proficient IT technician and assists in maintaining the office network systems, computers, and software.
